"Circle Game"
This work addresses life death and everything in between.
The baby shoe (birth) the rusty scuba diver (after life) and the image of Houdini becomes a metaphor of redemption as he defied death in many of his acts.

I grew up in California before my family moved to Richmond ,Virginia.
I received my Bachelors Degree in 1974 at Virginia Commonwealth University and my Masters in 1977.
I promptly left home with my girlfriend and moved to Texas to find work as a teacher but ended up working for a large Tech company.
The work allowed me to pursue my passion for making art and I have been an active member of the artistic community for over forty years.
I helped lay the groundwork for an all volunteer Art Center in 1983 that continues to this day.
I later served on the board of the center and was instrumental in introducing many unrepresented artists to the Dallas community.

Additionally, I have served on the board of the Emergency Artist Support League (EASL), which provides financial assistance to artists in need, supported local arts Organizations such as 500X, The McKinney Avenue Contemporary (MAC), The Dallas Sculpture Association, and The Texas Visual Arts Association are important to me.
My work can be found in numerous museums and private collections across Texas and beyond, including The Houston Museum of Fine Arts, The Noel Museum, The Austin Museum of Art, The Bass Collection, and The Barrett Collection.
