| Background: I am a Shamanic Practitioner An initiated Elder and a crazy assemblage and collage artist. I made my first art sale at seven years old. At that time, I could see the energy of trees and painted that energy, However my teacher didnt understand what I painted and said it was a horrible mess That ended my art for years. Fast forward 40 years. I started playing around with "junk" and making weird "art". I didn't know what I was doing I got on the internet and ran into art/altered books and fell in love. After a few years making the altered books, I started going back with the "weird" junk art again. I found out that it was called assemblage. I have been doing it ever since! At eighty + years I am still going strong doing assemblage and collage. |
