| It is now we find our new one-story home in a neighborhood of friendly and younger people. When we bought the house, we were informed the average age on our street was 49. I said to my husband, "Wow, We are really adding up the ages." Yes we made a move to the southern part of California about 3 years ago. When we told friends about being in our older years and moving, many couldn't imagine how or why. It has turned out so well, especially now we are near family. The painting I just completed is Home Delight of Eastlake Trails, a mix of acrylic and gel for transparency and touches of collage for texture. This artwork describes the beauty of evening night-lights on the local Homeowner's sign for this area of Chula Vista. |
