Cape Gooseberries under Lockdown acrylic on canvas $4,500 My garden had lots of Cape Gooseberries during Lockdown and it was a challenge to paint the intricate filigree that they are encased in. A change from the usual subject matter I work with. My studio is opposite the beach and nestled under Mount Taranaki in an abundant garden so this usually dictates what I paint.
