My art comes from my first work as a map & plan drawer, & from years of sewing & mending & remaking.
It's inspired by my whanau, by the diverse people I meet, by what's happening in the world, & by all the beautiful quirky things I see & collect.
If you're sitting on the pavement or driving up in your Jag, I'll just treat you as I'd like to be treated.
I probably won't go out for coffee with you, 'cause I'd rather be making art or reading, - but I am interested in hearing about the highs & lows of your life & I'm more likely to talk as I work alongside you.
A social butterfly I am not. My favourite place is alone.
