I turned 70 this past August 15, 2020. Between then and now, (Aug-Dec, 2020) I worked on Christmas cards since the Covid-19 virus is running amuck here. They were something I had never done, and it was a challenge to make them. I made eleven or more basic designs, finishing with almost sixty cards, but no two cards were the same...changing colors of paper and inks, types of papers, using collage, stamping techniques---letting the design change with my mood, etc. It was fun to see what I could do with each one. Some designs, not the basic eleven +, worked out, but I didn't want to do them again, so I didn't even try to rework them onto a 2nd card. So in reality, there were more than 11+ designs. |
