a collage by Dale Copeland
Using cutouts from one of my photos I'd solarised, and prints of paintings by Maz Boehme of Vienna.
on A4-sized 300gsm watercolour paper, mounted on foam board
Michael, one of my students, invited me to his baptism and I was allowed to take photos.
His world turned to black and white, and mine turned to the excitement of solarising in my darkroom - this was way before Photoshop was invented, where you can solarise just by pressing a button, then undo it and try a different setting. It was an exciting process, sometimes disastrous.
