Assemblage of found objects
human skull, brass mask, face of an old china doll, leather, handmade paper, old guillotine
Resting on a small guillotine is the top half of an old human skull.
I bought it in a bazaar in the old part of Khatmandu. It had been lined with Indian silver, and set with coloured stones.
I lived with it for many years, and finally used it for this assemblage. Lined with soft leather, sitting on a small old guillotine.
